Now we will cover the front (or swells as they are called) with leather. First you cut a hole in the leather and slip it over the horn.

Now nail and glue in place and trim.

This is the back cantel, it goes on the back of the tree

This is the skirts and wear-leathers after they are tooled

Now we tack the skirts back on the tree and let it dry to shape

We now nail and screw on the back riggings

Now on to making the seat.
